WARFAB is committed to “TARGET ZERO”

Target Zero is our commitment to the Warfab family (employees, customers, vendors, general public, environment) to eliminate all occupational injuries, illnesses, and environmental harm from our footprint.

We are deliberate about safety through our culture, core values, and safety management systems — supported by Target Zero rules and training. Safety is at the heart of how we deliver High Performance, High Value.

Warfab provides a myriad of services to its customers. It is every employee’s duty and responsibility to strictly follow our customer’s safety practices, rules, and regulations.

A common misconception is that supervision is only accountable for work performance and production, and that the Safety Director is only responsible for accident prevention and investigation. This is unacceptable. We believe that skill, craftsmanship, and safety are one in the same. The management of accident prevention and control must be executed in tandem with management of production to be efficient.

In order to adhere to these strict guidelines Warfab has implemented the following:

  • Behavioral Based Safety Program
  • In-house MSHA and OSHA training
  • In-house safety representatives on site
  • Our never ending goal to “ZERO HARM”
  • Stop Work Authority

At Warfab, we believe all accidents are preventable, provided hazards are recognized, evaluated, and controlled in time to prevent it. The extension of hazard identification, evaluation, and control through the eyes and action of motivated employees is the most effective accident prevention system.
